The 28-year-old actor said he was able to perform three songs by the time filming of "Pettigrew" began, the New York Daily News said Sunday.
"I could probably still play them, if I was drunk at a party," he said.
Now Pace is convinced the writers on his hit freshman TV series will be inspired to introduce some piano-playing to the world of "Daisies."
"I have a feeling that once they see this movie, they'll be working on a musical episode of 'Pushing Daisies,'" Pace said.
"Daisies" has been a pleasant surprise hit for ABC and while the writers' strike ended its freshman run at nine episodes, the network has ordered a second season of the quirky drama, the Daily News said.
