First season Dancing with the Stars participant Joey McIntyre will apparently soon have somebody new to teach his dance moves to.

The 34-year-old former New Kids on the Block singer and Barrett, his wife of four years, are expecting their first child together in November, People reported in its June 18 issue.

"We're thrilled," McIntyre told People.  "We just moved into a new house, so it's all coming together."  A native of Needham, MA, McIntyre said he learned of his 29-year-old wife's pregnancy on St. Patrick's Day.

"Being an Irish guy that's a good luck charm!" he told People.

McIntyre finished third on the first season of ABC's Dancing with the Stars with professional partner Ashly DelGrosso, who -- somewhat serendipitously -- didn't participate in the reality competition series' recently concluded fourth season due to her own pregnancy

Although he's no doubt excited about becoming a father, McIntyre will also have other things on his mind this summer -- he'll be participating in the second edition of Dancing with the Stars - The Tour when it kicks-off in Austin, TX on June 20.

"[Barrett's] a little worried about some of the bumpy roads but I'm sure she'll be fine," McIntyre told People, explaining his plans to have his wife accompany him on the tour. "I don't want her to lift anything.  She'd rather do it herself than ask somebody so it's frustrating for her to sit back and ask for me to do it."

While Barrett may be learning to let her husband do some of the work while she's pregnant, McIntyre said he's also bound to learn a thing or two prior to fatherhood.

"[Women] do all the work and the husband just has to stand by and roll with the changes," McIntyre told People with a laugh. "They're obviously going through a lot. You can't always figure it out exactly. You just have to be there and available."
