After waltzing with the likes of Joey McIntyre, Master P and Harry Hamlin on the first three seasons of ABC's Dancing with the Stars, motherhood should be a piece of cake for Ashly DelGrosso.

"As most of you know [the fourth season of] Dancing with the Stars will begin on March 19th but unfortunately I will not be a part of it. I just received word that the producers will not be taking me back for season four. This is due to the fact that I am expecting my first baby in July," the pregnant DelGrosso recently announced on her personal website.

Despite never winning the reality competition series with her celebrity partner, the 24-year-old professional dancer was a fan favorite on Dancing with the Stars' first three seasons.  DelGrosso finished third on Dancing with the Stars first season when she was paired with McIntyre, an ex-New Kids on the Block singer; came in seventh when partnered with rapper Master P during the show's second season; and was eliminated after only three weeks of dancing with actor Harry Hamlin during the show's third season.

"I had the incredible opportunity to appear on the hit ABC TV show Dancing with the Stars for three seasons," DelGrosso said.  "I had such a great time working on the show and was blessed to get to know some really wonderful people and build some lasting friendships."

One of those lasting friendships DelGrosso formed was with Dancing with the Stars field producer Mike Costa, her new husband.  The two met in April 2005 during filming for Dancing with the Stars first season, where DelGrosso said Costa worked "pretty much everyday" with she and McIntyre.

"[Costa and I] both loved being around each other and became good friends over the course of the season," said DelGrosso.  The summer following the first season of Dancing with the Stars, Costa and DelGrosso began dating and she said "our interest in each other blossomed."  They were married on October 21, 2006 in Los Angeles, CA.

"We are both so in love and our wedding day was exactly what we had both dreamed it would be, a beautiful, perfect unforgettable day!" DelGrosso said.  "As disappointing as it is for me to not be on the show this season I am so excited to have my first baby and to be a mom.  There is no calling more important than that of motherhood and I can't wait to be one. I sincerely hope to be in other upcoming [Dancing with the Stars] seasons after the baby is born and look forward to performing again for all of you."

DelGrosso -- now officially Ashly Costa -- concluded by thanking her fans.

"I am so thankful for the opportunity I had to be on Dancing with the Stars and have been blessed to have such amazing and dedicated fans who have supported and inspired me over the past year," she said.
