NBC Universal renews 'The Martha Stewart Show' for a fourth season

NBC Universal Domestic Television Distribution said it has renewed its hit U.S. lifestyle program "The Martha Stewart Show" for a fourth season.

Now in its third season in national syndication, the series has been sold to NBC Local Media stations in New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Philadelphia, San Francisco, Dallas, Miami and San Diego for the 2008-2009 season, as well as to stations from Fox, Belo, Fisher, Scripps, Hearst, Allbritton, LIN, Young, Raycom, Clear Channel and other leading broadcast station groups for its fourth season, Barry Wallach, president of NBC Universal Domestic Television Distribution, said in a statement.

Shot in front of a studio audience, the hourlong, daily "how-to" program features celebrity guests and segments on cooking, entertaining, decorating, crafting, gardening and home renovation, all presided over by Stewart herself.
