'My Name is Earl' star Jamie Pressly gets engaged to Eric Cubiche

U.S. TV and film actress Jamie Pressly's publicist, has confirmed that the "My Name is Earl" star is engaged to her DJ boyfriend Eric Cubiche.

Publicist Megan Pope confirmed that while the actress received her engagement ring Tuesday, the couple became engaged over the weekend after one year of dating and years of friendship, Us Weekly reported.

The 29-year-old actress, who plays Joy on the NBC comedy series, received a ring she and her longtime friend designed together for their engagement.

"Eric has been my best friend for nine years." Pressly said in an interview last month, at which her new fiance had added, "We couldn't be any closer."

Us Weekly said that Pressly has more to be thankful for as her Spring/Summer 2007 "J'aime by Jaime Pressly "collection makes its debut Thursday at the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel.
