Although Taylor and Brandon were at odds for the majority of their first month of marriage, the sparring spouses chose to continue their marriage and attempt to work out their issues on the experiment's "Recommitment Day."

Brandon even began wearing his wedding ring again, and Taylor decided to keep an open heart and stick it out with her husband.

"Are you surprised that you recommitted?" Married at First Sight: Unfiltered host Jamie Otis asked Taylor on the talk show's March 25 broadcast on Lifetime.

"Yeah, yeah, I am!," Taylor replied.

"Because I was really surprised that you stayed committed!" Jamie exclaimed to Taylor.

Jamie also asked Taylor's Married at First Sight co-star Derek Sherman whether he was surprised all five couples chose to stay together.

"I was surprised that [Taylor and Brandon] stayed committed, and especially [Zach Justice] and [Mindy Shiben], and even a little bit about [Michael Watson] and [Meka Jones]," Derek confessed.

But both Taylor and Brandon needed to see changes from their partners in order to continue on in the process.

Taylor told Dr. Viviana Coles on Married at First Sight's tenth season she'd love to see "consistent respectful behavior" and "consistent interest" from Brandon.

And Brandon told Pastor Calvin Roberson the following "[Taylor] would have to act like a wife... Someone who is not constantly going out and partying with her girlfriends, someone who hasn't blocked me on social media, someone who hasn't... said they're a single person. If she can work on that, I'm open to it."

However, after some time passed, Taylor wasn't convinced Brandon was putting the work in. Brandon even told Pastor Cal he was doing his job by forgiving his wife for her mistakes.

"It's funny to hear these are the things that Brandon is doing to change. He's like, 'Oh yeah, I forgave her!' So that's him changing? Okay sure," Taylor said on Unfiltered.

"We're making it work but it's just, come on, [Brandon]'s efforts are not [high] like he's saying. They are [really low]. Hopefully they increase to the [high level] he thinks he's at."

Jamie hoped Taylor would get to see more effort from Brandon, and then the host asked Taylor what the future of her marriage looked like after "Recommitment Day."

"I can only hope that it gets a little bit better," Taylor share.

"Even a little bit better would be great. I mean, I just want some positivity to come out of this experience."

Derek then opened up about what he thought the future of his own marriage to Katie Conrad looked like at that time.

"As of right now, I feel good moving forward. I definitely kind of see an avenue in how things could work out great, and to me, that's all I really need to see right now -- is the potential for this... We'll see what happens, but for right now, I'm feeling good," Derek said.

Derek and Katie appear to be in a great place on Married at First Sight after communicating their differences and how they could better support and encourage each other going forward.

Taylor and Brandon also effectively expressed themselves to each other and bonded over a visit to Brandon's hometown in Washington D.C. and his old stomping grounds where he grew up.

Mindy, however, chose to end her marriage to Zach prematurely on the latest episode of the series.

Married at First Sight's tenth season currently airs Wednesday nights at 8PM ET/PT on Lifetime.
