Married at First Sight star Taylor Dunklin insists Brandon Reid was a completely different person off-camera than on-camera while filming Season 10 and believed the show's producers were trying to make him look like "the angry black guy."

Married at First Sight viewers witnessed an explosive altercation between Brandon and Taylor during a couples' retreat in which Brandon was angry at his wife for spending the night out in a hotel with her friends.

Brandon accused Taylor of hanging out with men and not acting like a wife should, but Taylor thought Brandon was acting like a little "b-tch" since she had texted him in the morning and immediately apologized for falling asleep the night prior. She was also angry he waited almost an entire day to even voice or discuss his frustrations with her.

During the April 8 broadcast of Married at First Sight: Unfiltered, Taylor elaborated on why she and Brandon had it out for each other at the couples' retreat.

"We had an argument because Brandon is two different people. He's one person on-camera and he's another person off-camera," Taylor claimed.

"We had already talked about, 'I'm sorry, I was very tired.' The only reason I went to Washington, D.C. from our apartment was to drop Brandon off at home. He asked me to give him a ride home and I'm like, 'Fine, if I have to give you a ride home, I guess I'll go hang out with my friends who are visiting.'"

Taylor continued, "And he was like, 'Well, I'm going to go work and I'm going to do this, and at the end of the night, just come back to hang out with me.' And I was like, 'Okay, sure, I'll come back and hang out with you.'"

However, Taylor said she just didn't have the energy to make the drive back to Brandon.

"It was late, I was already tired, and I literally fell asleep. So, I was just very frustrated," she noted.

The fight between Taylor and Brandon eventually escalated into a showdown between Brandon and production. Brandon attempted to remove his microphone, but a producer asked him not to touch it.

"Guess what? I just did. What? Are you going to put your hands on me?" Brandon asked.

"No, that's not your property, dude," Leif countered.

"What are you going to do?" Brandon asked.

"Who are you?" Leif questioned. "What's your problem man?"

Brandon then handed his microphone over to Leif and smugly stated, "That's what."

Brandon went on to stare the producer down and call him a "piece of sh-t" as well as "a f-cking d-ckhead" before calling a female producer "a piece of sh-t" as well.

When Leif said he never made Brandon sign up for Married at First Sight, Brandon taunted and berated Leif, getting right up in his face.

Taylor therefore shut Brandon and herself into a bathroom so she could try to calm him down and talk things out without cameras filming them, but Brandon could be heard yelling and swearing at Taylor.

"Get off of me! Stop putting your hands on me! Get the f-ck off of me. Do not touch me," Brandon yelled.

Taylor explained on Unfiltered, "I was like, 'I came here to be a committed wife, let me just go try my best.'"

"Brandon has tried to say people are making him out to be 'the angry black guy,' that he can't get away from the cameras and he can't do this," she claimed.

"So I was like, 'Fine, let me try to block the cameras off so we can try to have a real conversation.'"

Despite Taylor's attempts, Brandon got dressed, grabbed his bag and left the retreat -- and he never came back.

Taylor's Married at First Sight co-star Katie Conrad joined her on the Unfiltered broadcast and offered her thoughts on that shocking footage.

"It makes me feel really sad for Taylor," Katie admitted. "I think she was desperately trying to calm him down and desperately trying to reason with him and trying to be supportive, and he just wasn't having it."

Although it seemed like Taylor and Brandon's relationship was over once and for all, Taylor revealed in Wednesday night's episode she and Brandon attempted to hash things out once they returned home off-camera.

Taylor, in fact, still had hope both she and her husband would say "yes" to staying married on "Decision Day," but she wasn't sure Brandon was going to show up for the final meeting with the experts.

Married at First Sight's tenth season also stars Katie's husband Derek Sherman, Michael Watson and Meka Jones, and Jessica Studer and Austin Hurd.

The season's other couple, Zach Justice and Mindy Shiben, ended their marriage nearly two weeks before "Decision Day."
