Married at First Sight star Domynique Kloss has revealed what happened off-camera that made her feel "over it" with Mackinley Gilbert during their chat with expert Pastor Calvin Roberson.

Domynique, 25, and Mackinley, 34, were matched to wed as strangers by Married at First Sight experts Pastor Cal and Dr. Pepper Schwartz on the Lifetime reality series' sixteenth season.

While Domynique and Mackinley hit it off on their wedding day, their marriage started going downhill during their honeymoon in Jamaica. Domynique didn't appreciate Mackinley constantly cracking jokes, and having to push her husband to try new activities really annoyed her.

During the February 22 episode of Married at First Sight: Afterparty, Domynique watched back a Season 16 clip of the couple's first counseling session with Pastor Cal.

"You are poised for battle," Pastor Cal tells Domynique, who was sitting as far away from Mackinley as possible on the couch.

When asked why her body language is so tense, Domynique replies, "Because we both have some concerns. He feels like there are things on the top of his list that he asked for in a spouse that he didn't get. And then I also feel the same way."

"So what do you want to do?" Pastor Cal questions Domynique.

"I don't know. Honestly, I'm just kind of over it," Domynique admits.

Afterparty host Keshia Knight Pulliam asked Domynique how watching that clip made her feel.

"So what you don't see is, before Pastor Cal comes in, Mack goes on a 10-minute rant about all the things he asked for in a spouse that he didn't get and he doesn't see in me," Domynique claimed.

"And then he also said, 'Pastor Cal thinks he's going to walk in here and say what he's going to say and we're going to change our minds about how we feel,'" Domynique alleged.

Domynique therefore claimed Mackinley was "talking a big game" when Pastor Cal wasn't around.

"And then as soon as Pastor Cal walks in, he tucks his tail and, like, doesn't actually say what's on his mind," Domynique said of Mackinley.

Domynique suggested Mackinley was like a Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde with his behavior on and off camera.

Domynique went on to confirm that she looked "poised for battle" during that conversation with Pastor Cal because she was "reacting off of the energy and comments" Mackinley had been giving her up to that point.

"Mack is being very vocal about the fact that he did not get what he wanted from me. It's not like I just came up with these feelings out of the blue," Domynique explained.

"This is what he is verbally saying to me, and what am I supposed to do in this situation where someone doesn't want me?"

Keshia asked Domynique to verify that she didn't feel wanted, and Domynique responded, "I feel like he doesn't want to be in this marriage!"

She was also fed up with Mackinley's alleged habit of complaining, copping a negative attitude and being petty.

Domynique said her "faith" in God was all she had left that was giving her hope in her relationship with Mackinley.

"I feel like I was selected in this process for a reason," Domynique noted. "So I'm just relying heavily on God at this point."

On Married at First Sight's latest episode, Mackinley seemed disinterested in exploring Domynique's former apartment, and when Domynique asked her husband -- who was living in his friend's basement -- if he could see himself moving in there one day, he replied, "I don't know. We'll see."

The couple then argued about how much freedom Mackinley's dogs could have in their place, and Domynique appeared to suggest Mackinley didn't care that much about his dogs if he hadn't even moved them to Nashville yet.

"Yeah, you're right. I guess I don't like my dogs and I don't care if they're here," Mackinley snapped at his wife, adding how he wanted to get settled with an apartment or house before involving his "kids."

While moving into their new apartment, Mackinley complained about how he had made compromises for Domynique, with her allegedly doing nothing in return.

During their chat with Pastor Cal, Domynique complained that the expert had "some explaining to do."

Domynique told Pastor Cal that Mackinley wasn't outgoing, adventurous or optimistic, and Mackinley vented about how Domynique was too adventurous for him and didn't treat dogs the same way.

Mackinley also griped about how he felt "judged" by Domynique's reaction to his basement living, and she confirmed it was "a turnoff" to her.

"I wanted marriage, but I didn't think I was going to get someone that's the polar opposite of me," Domynique griped. "I expected more."

When Pastor Cal asked Domynique what she wanted to do, Domynique replied, "I don't know. Honestly, I'm just kind of over it."

"What does that mean? 'I'm over this conversation or I'm over the marriage?'" Pastor Cal asked.

The episode then ended in a cliffhanger, but Married at First Sight previews suggest there is a lot more drama to come for this couple.
