The show currently features five couples blossoming and deepening their connections.

Isabella, a 25-year-old hostess from Atlanta, GA, is matched with Tyler, a 26-year-old construction company owner from Greeley, CO.

Eric Acosta, a 31-year-old entrepreneur and son of a diplomat from Denver, CO, is paired with Katie Muller, a 28-year-old in digital advertising from Denver, CO.

Brandin Brosh, a 28-year-old clothing boutique owner from Biloxi, MS, has her eyes set on Jona Bienko, a 35-year-old auto broker from Como, CO.

Shannon Raddler, a 33-year-old pharmaceutical sales representative from Atlanta, GA, is interested in pursuing Kimber Gardner, a 28-year-old medical sales representative from Las Vegas, NV.

And finally, Jada Rashawn, a 27-year-old professional nanny placement specialist and brand spokesperson from San Antonio, TX, is a couple with Chris Perry, a 29-year-old musician, personal trainer and youth counselor from Binghamton, NY.

The Married at First Sight broadcast began on Day 10 of Honeymoon Island, with five couples remaining who were all working towards marriage.

But each couple had to figure out whether they were on the same page about where to live, religion, gender roles, and welcoming children. Communication was also key when it came to potential dealbreakers.

Each couple matched themselves based on chemistry and chose to enjoy a honeymoon together, but now each pair had to apply Married at First Sight's principles to their relationship and address sociology.

Pastor Cal said Brandin had yet to reciprocate Jona's affection and physical intimacy, but she told him that she wanted to be comfortable and allow their connection to develop naturally, without pressure from others.

Brandin wasn't comparing her relationship to what other couples had on Honeymoon Island, and she wanted to establish a friendship first.

Jona expressed how he was happy with the state of his relationship, but his fellow cast members questioned the effort Brandin was putting into their relationship considering Jona was so giving and vulnerable.

Meanwhile, Isabella and Tyler were living in the moment and falling for one another. There was nowhere else Isabella would rather be, and Tyler agreed.

"I don't think we're at the 'love' word yet, but the love is there... We have such good energy together that it's unreal," Tyler told the cameras.

Pastor Cal expressed how Isabella and Tyler found "love at first sight" with each other but they're the youngest couple on the show and may not be able to communicate their wants and needs just yet.

As for Shannon and Kimber, they bonded over a little shopping excursion, but Shannon was concerned because his love interest was "so against motherhood and having kids."

Kimber then revealed she had been engaged once before and the man had a daughter, whom she took care of and planned to adopt one day. However, Kimber found it difficult to be a stay-at-home mom, and she was devastated when her relationship failed.

Kimber then determined she doesn't want children of her home, but Shannon was hoping she'd maintain an open mind.

"The fact that Kimber is so opposed to having kids, it makes me realize how much I want kids. So it kind of scares me and worries me because it could be a potential dealbreaker. It makes me sad because we have so much in common, except this one thing -- but it's a big thing!" Shannon said in a confessional.

Shannon and Kimber agreed to have this discussion with Pastor Cal since they both knew it could become an issue.

Meanwhile, Chris and Jada went for a romantic bike ride, and Chris said their relationship felt natural. Jada also gushed about how Chris made her laugh and he was "exceeding [her] expectations."

Chris was hopeful they'd get to a point where Jada could meet his daughter. Chris had yet to introduce a woman to his daughter, and the couple agreed they'd be open to welcoming more kids.

"Chris and I get along so well and I definitely see a future beyond this. He's the first guy I really feel and see myself being with forever," Jada told the cameras.

Eric and Katie were then shown going on their own private cruise. While they were scientifically a great match and both located in Denver, CO, Calvin was hoping they could develop their relationship by surpassing shallow, surface-level conversation.

Eric really liked Katie because she's his "equal," and Katie was very optimistic about their romance.

Kimber and Shannon then spoke to Calvin and Jessica about their differences. During this conversation, Kimber revealed she had struggled with depression and wouldn't want to raise a "miniature version" of herself since she went through so much in her childhood and teenage years.

In fact, it freaked Kimber out, but the experts agreed Kimber was wonderful, and Shannon admitted he'd love to have a child that resembles her.

Jessica acknowledged if neither person budged on this topic, it will serve as a major roadblock in their relationship.

Later that day, Jona and Brandin sat on a blanket by the water, held hands and dove deeper into their emotions. The couple seemed to embrace moving at their own speed, and then they shared their first romantic kiss.

Brandin admitted she couldn't even explain what she was feeling during their little makeout session and Jona seemed "pretty perfect."

Calvin and Jessica then invited the couples to a nearby park for a little friendly competition to test their communication skills. Isabella, especially, understood the bigger picture and what this challenge could mean for their relationship.

For the competition, each woman sat on her man's shoulders while he was blindfolded, and she had to lead him where to go through her verbal directions and commands. Afterward, the woman would be blindfolded and the man had to guide her to a bouquet hanging from a tree.

In the end, Jona and Brandin did a great job and placed first, Chris and Jada finished in second, and Isabella and Tyler claimed third.

However, Tyler led Isabella into a tree a couple of times, and she grew very upset about Tyler's lack of listening skills. Isabella said she hates losing but insisted she's not a sore loser.

Calvin pointed out Isabella tends to blow up over little insignificant things, such as the loofah on David Norton's Married at First Sight: Second Chances season, and she did find herself extremely disappointed and angry at Tyler.

That night, all of the couples gathered together for some drinks and entertainment. While Chris serenaded Jada a song and they grew closer, Isabella was fuming over the competition.

Kimber, Jada and Katie didn't understand how Isabella could be so upset over the relay race and maintain such a negative energy, but Isabella said she was "on rocky terms" with Tyler because she realized "they do have issues with communication."

Tyler knew Isabella was "furious" at him, but talking to her didn't help. Isabella explained it was about him trusting her, listening to her, and working together as a team, but Chris believed they did a pretty good job.

"That girl is so mad at me that it's unreal. I don't understand it. I don't. She's a different person and I don't know what to do at this point," Tyler told the cameras, adding that he couldn't believe she took a little race so seriously.

"She belittles me. This is so dumb? Why are we even fighting about this?"

Isabella said Tyler was just "arguing" with her "like a child" instead of asking how they could improve their dynamic.

Isabella therefore stormed off and said, "I'm done." She didn't want to talk to him and eventually went to their honeymoon suite alone. Isabella's behavior left Tyler "second guessing" their relationship.

"I don't want to be here. I came here to find love, and I thought I found it instantly, but now I am just not sure he's the one. I need my space," Isabella said in a confessional. "Maybe I should choose someone else like Shannon, Jona or even Chris."
