Mariah Carey's "We Belong Together" topped the Billboard Hot 100 for a ninth week Thursday, but the top single was showing signs of cooling off.
It has not carried a bullet, signifying continued airplay and sales growth, since returning to No. 1 on the Hot 100 earlier this month, Billboard reported. After three weeks atop the Pop 100, the single was bumped by the Pussycat Dolls' "Don't Cha" featuring Busta Rhymes.
Toby Keith's "As Good As I Once Was" held onto No. 1 on Billboard's Hot Country Songs chart for the third consecutive week, while Shakira's "La Tortura" featuring Alejandro Sanz chalked up its eighth week at No. 1 on the Hot Latin Songs chart. The Foo Fighters' "Best of You" held the top spots on both the Mainstream and Modern Rock airplay charts.
Kelly Clarkson's "Breakaway" bounced back to No. 1 on the Adult Contemporary airplay chart for its 21st non-consecutive week on top.
