Hasselbeck called the move "socially irresponsible" and said she was so upset with how close the similarity was to her name that she called the executive producer of "Law & Order," Neal Baer to talk and he eventually hung up on her, the New York Daily news reported.

She said that Baer told her any similarity was a coincidence, "He got more angry and said, 'I'm sorry,'" she told the Daily News.

She also told Baer that she didn't want to sit on a "View" panel with an "SVU" guest again.

"He said, 'I don't have to deal with you. Goodbye, lady,'" Hasselbeck said.

All NBC had to say was, "The producers love 'The View' and we're always happy when our 'SVU' actors appear as guests," a spokeswoman said to the newspaper.
