Kim Kardashian is apparently shocked she was even capable of getting pregnant.

"I'm 32-years-old and -- you'll see in the season [of Keeping Up with the Kardashians] -- there's been a lot of fertility issues that I haven't really spoken about... So it's kind of a miracle that I did get pregnant. I think God puts things in front of you, and places things in your life for a reason," Kardashian said during a Tuesday appearance on NBC's Today show alongside sister Kourtney Kardashian to promote their upcoming Kourtney & Kim Take Miami spinoff.

While Kim admitted she's taken a lot of notes on how to raise and handle a child by watching Kourtney with her kids, three-year-old Mason and six-month-old Penelope, she still plans to change things up a little bit.

"I'm definitely going to be a different mom than Kourtney. I'm going to share my bedroom with my boyfriend [Kanye West] unlike her... [and] she loves to have the babies sleep in bed with her at night," Kim said, clarifying that she won't allow that to happen once her baby's born.

In terms of the reality TV star's still-pending divorce from ex-husband Kris Humphries, Kim insisted she didn't rush into dating West after she split from Humphries in late October 2011.

"It's been a year-and-a-half since I filed, so I definitely waited six months before I started a relationship," Kim told the Today co-hosts. "As much as I'd love to be divorced -- and we're working on it -- I hope it's sooner than later, but you can't -- what are you gonna do?!"

When reminded how Kim -- who said the baby is due in July -- may still be married to Humphries when her baby with West is born, Kim bluntly noted, "I hope not."

Added Kim, "I don't think [that'll be an issue]. I'm really hopeful and I'm just hoping to get through it sooner than later. It's just a process, you know?"

The reality TV star and West announced they're expecting their first child together earlier this month although rumors of the pregnancy had been circulating since December. The couple have been dating for over nine months.

Kourtney & Kim Take Miami began production in September and is set to premiere on January 20.
