Tucker proposed to Burruss, his girlfriend of over a year, with a two-carat diamond engagement ring during a small gathering at the couple's home in Atlanta on New Year's Day, Us Weekly reported.

Burruss' 10-year-old daughter Riley reportedly gave Tucker her blessing to ask her mother's hand in marriage.

"I was totally surprised," the reality TV star told Us of the proposal, adding that she even cried some tears of joy.

Burruss is also apparently surprised she's simply off the market now, as she had been engaged once before to the late Ashley "A.J." Jewell.

"I used to make jokes with my friends that I [was] part of the Forever Single Club," she told the magazine. "That's what I said before, but now I'm totally different."

Burruss, 36, and Tucker, 39, reportedly have yet to determine their wedding date, while the planning is still in the beginning stages. It also remains uncertain as to whether their big day will air on The Real Housewives of Atlanta.

Burruss joined the cast of The Real Housewives of Atlanta for the show's second season in 2009. The singer/songwriter and Tucker debuted their relationship on the Bravo series' fifth season, which premiered on November 4.
