"I'm freaking out. Big time," Gosselin told People in a new interview in regards to the cancellation of her TLC reality show, which the network announced last month.

According to the reality TV star, her eight children "weren't ready" for the series -- Kate Plus 8 began as Jon & Kate Plus 8 in 2007 before being relaunched as Kate Plus 8 last year following Gosselin's 2009 divorce from former husband Jon Gosselin -- to be over.

"Nobody was. I've never quit a job in my life without having something else lined up. I don't know what's next," Gosselin said, adding that she will do whatever it takes to continue to provide for her twin girls and sextuplets and give them the life she wants for them.

"I told them I will work my fingers to the bone to make sure that they can stay here and go to their school," the 36-year-old single mom explained.

"There are no guarantees in life for anyone, but they know that I'm giving it my best shot."
