Fortune was chosen to replace the late Michael Hutchence in front of a TV audience during the CBS summer reality show, "Rock Star: INXS."

Hutchence killed himself in 1997.

The new INXS is putting the finishing touches on its album, "Switch," which will be released Nov. 29 by Epic Records, E! Online reported Tuesday.

The band has tapped runner-up, Marty Casey of Chicago, and his band The Lovehammers to travel as its opening act on the tour.
