Gordon Ramsay's was hurting last week, however it apparently wasn't because the Hell's Kitchen star burned his privates while cooking.

"I have to set the story straight here, and I'm going to blush as I say it. All men have to check regularly and he had a dull ache in one of his testicles and so he went to have it checked," Ramsay's wife Tana revealed on Monday's This Morning program in the U.K., according to the thelondonpaper.com.

Prior to attending the GQ Men of the Year awards at the Royal Opera House in London last week -- where he was honored as Best Chef -- Ramsay told reporters he burnt his private areas while cooking and not wearing underwear, causing him to need an ultrasound at a private clinic.

However Tana said her husband never cooked his privates and was instead feeling a "dull ache" due to his "old age."

"We were at an awards do that night and the moment we stepped out, he was questioned," she said on This Morning.  "You could see he was brimming with excitement and said: 'I know what I'm going to say, I burnt it.'"
