HBO chooses Tracy Chapman's 'Change' single for new ad campaign

HBO has chosen Tracy Chapman's single "Change" as the signature song for the premium cable channel's image spots, it was announced Monday.

The Grammy-winning singer/songwriter's music will promote the network's Original Series programming in spots running Nov. 20 through Jan. 1, Atlantic Records said in a news release.

It will mark Chapman's first foray into advertising, the record label said.

"Change" is the first single from Chapman's new Elektra/Atlantic album, "Where You Live."

Chapman is on tour in Europe through Dec. 13.
