Fox will bring back "Naked TV," a showcase for playwrights intended to identify new writers for TV, Fox Broadcasting Co. said Monday.

Fox collaborated last year with Naked Angeles Theater Co. on an evening of one-act plays, presented in Santa Monica, Calif., to give promising writers an opportunity to have their work seen by Fox network executives.
That program resulted in development deals for writers Andy Brobrow and Matt Boren and animator Chuck Swenson.
This year's "Naked TV" will feature works by freelance journalist Tony Horkins, Los Angeles based playwright Patricia Cotter, novelist Veronica Chambers, playwright Evan Smith, director and producer Douglas Segal and playwright Aida Croal. They will present their one-act plays on April 8 in a private show for Fox executives. The show will be open to the public beginning April 9.
The Naked Angels Theater Co. is home to such actors as Sarah Jessica Parker, Matthew Broderick and Marisa Tomei.
