Former Teen Mom star Farrah Abraham currently has a job as a stripper but is passing the experience off as "research."

"In the same way Jennifer Aniston researched her role as a stripper, that's what I'm doing," Abraham, 23, told E! News, claiming stripping is not a career move.

Aniston stripped in last year's comedy We're the Millers.

Abraham is working at Palazio Gentlemen's Club in Austin, TX, according to a source, and was "hired a couple of weeks ago as a cocktail waitress but wanted to make more money dancing, so they moved her up to [perform on all three] stages."

"A friend of mine works there and I'm researching," Abraham insisted.

"I've been trying out all the roles that make up a gentleman's club, including cocktailing and dancing. There's management and there's cooking too. It's job shadowing that I hope pays off. It's how I get the information to write my books and do my movies."

Reports surfaced in April that Abraham had been writing three erotic novels in a trilogy entitled Celebrity Sex Tape, which clearly hits close to home for the reality TV star-turned-porn star, Us Weekly reported at the time.

"Unfortunately, I'm not free to talk about what those future projects may be," Abraham told E! News. "But I'm interested in hearing all the women's stories. And while I'm doing it, I'm getting paid. I'm getting paid to play a role and get informed."

Maci Bookout, Catelynn Lowell and Amber Portwood will all be returning to Teen Mom for its upcoming revival after telling producers their involvement would be under one major condition, that Abraham wouldn't be invited back with them.

Abraham, a single mother to five-year-old Sophia, was initially thrilled when she had landed a reported near-million dollar deal with Vivid Entertainment to release her Farrah Superstar: Backdoor Teen Mom sex tape in early May 2013. However, she came to regret it.

In addition to writing books and allegedly pursuing a music career now, Abraham recently starred in VH1 Couples Therapy, which premiered back in January. Ironically enough, Abraham didn't actually have a boyfriend when the show taped and participated alone.
