Farrah Abraham apparently more than regrets the sex tape she had created and sold in Spring 2013.

"It made it hard to have friends and a private life and to trust family, who I feel use me for money. If I went back in time, I would not have done it. The sex tape ruined my life," the former Teen Mom star-turned-porn star told In Touch Weekly.

"Knowing my sex tape was out there for everyone in the world to see... was overwhelming. I wanted to hide my face and not go out or pick up my phone."

Abraham, a single mother to four-year-old Sophia, was initially thrilled when she had landed a reported near-million dollar deal with Vivid Entertainment to release her Farrah Superstar: Backdoor Teen Mom sex tape in early May 2013.

"This is a risk for me to take, however I feel comfortable having given the rights to Vivid, a company I know can handle the media and press surrounding my sexuality," Abraham told In Touch at the time. "I am very pleased with the outcome and to have this opportunity to be an entrepreneur in another unexpected light in my life."

Abraham, 22, is clearly singing a different tune now, especially since her decision to star in an adult film also negatively affected her love life. Abraham began dating a deejay named Brian Dawe, 31, in May of last year. Abraham told In Touch the couple was supposed to appear on VH1 Couples Therapy together this month but Dawe allegedly left Abraham high and dry before taping began.

"He abandoned me," the reality TV star told the magazine, adding however, that she still benefited from going on the show solo.

"Therapy helped me understand I can't continue experiencing life [the way I had been], that I'm more special than sex tapes. Hearing others tell me my worth is [all based on] my body... I'm stronger than that."

VH1 Couples Therapy premiered on January 2.
