Former American Idol finalist Constantine Maroulis has been arrested twice in one week.

Maroulis first got arrested last Wednesday when his daughter's mother, Angel Reed, claimed he threw her on the ground and kicked her in the groin. But almost immediately after Maroulis posted bail, he filed a restraining order against her, insisting he was just defending himself against her attack.

Although Maroulis insists Reed has a history of harassment and violent behavior, he's the one who just reached out to her via email on Sunday, TMZ reported.

The email was a breach of the restraining order which prohibits any contact, so Reed reportedly ratted him out and got him arrested again.

According to Maroulis' representative, the singer's email pointed out all the incidents that allegedly led up to their big domestic spat. The rep reportedly said the letter was meant for his client's lawyers and Maroulis accidentally cc'd her.

Maroulis spent little time in custody, however, as he's already been bailed out again.

Maroulis competed on the fourth season of American Idol and finished in sixth place. He has since starred on Broadway.
