The former Survivor: The Australian Outback castaway-turned-The View co-host gave birth to her third child on Sunday -- only two days after the ABC talk show ended its 2008-2009 broadcast season.

Isaiah Timothy Hasselbeck was born in a New York City hospital and weighed 7 lbs., 7 ounces, The View announced on its website.

"Elisabeth and Isaiah are doing great, and we're excited about the addition of another baby boy into our family," her husband Tim Hasselbeck told The View via telephone.

The former Survivor castaway had revealed she was pregnant during a The View broadcast in January -- the third time she used the talk show to announce she was expecting.

In September 2004, Hasselbeck used ABC talk show to announce that she and Tim were expecting their first child, Grace, who was born six months later in April 2005.  In March 2007, Hasselbeck announced on The View once again that she would be expecting her second child. That November she gave birth to Taylor Thomas Hasselbeck.

The View will be in repeats until its new season premieres September 8.
