By Steve Rogers, 09/17/2003

Lisa Shannon may not have gotten a marriage proposal or the $1 million dowry, but she still got Hank (while the infamous Robert finished as runner-up) and Cupid's largest audience and highest ratings in adults 18-49, adults 25-54 and key women demographics, according to Nielsen preliminary affiliate based ratings for Tuesday, Sept. 16.

The finale of Cupid delivered 9.50 million potential (and disappointed) wedding guests, the largest audience for the summer series and placed first in the time period in the adults 18-49 demographic (4.1 rating, and an 11 share) and second in households (6.3/10), viewers, adults 18-34 (3.8/11) and adults 25-54 (4.4/10, -0.1 behind ABC).

With ABC's John Ritter Tribute being considered a news special for ratings purposes, Cupid was the highest rated entertainment program of the night among adults 18-49, women 18-49 and women 25-54.

Cupid posted CBS's highest ratings for a regularly scheduled program in the Tuesday 9:00-10:00 PM time period in adults 18-34 and women 18-34 since 9/4/01 and in adults 18-49 and women 18-49 since 10/23/01.
