Bristol Palin apologizes for Facebook attack and sister's gay slurs

Bristol Palin has apologized for a heated online exchange in which she and her sister Willow repeatedly used curse words and gay slurs to attack Facebook users who were critical of Sarah Palin's Alaska, the new Palin family reality series which premiered on TLC on Sunday night.
"Willow and I shouldn't have reacted to negative comments about our family. We apologize. On a nicer note, thank you for supporting the great competition in Dancing with the Stars!" the newly-revealed eleventh-season Dancing with the Stars finalist wrote on her Facebook fan page late Tuesday night.
The Facebook wall war apparently began when a former classmate named Tre criticized Sarah Palin's Alaska.
"Sarah Palin's Alaska, is failing so hard right now," Tre wrote on Facebook.
While mild, the "negative comment" quickly initiated a fierce response from the Palin sisters.
"You just run your mouth just so you can get a reaction. You're a typical s--t talker -- talking s--t because you have nothing else going for you," Bristol wrote.
Willow then fired back at Tre with even more frustration.
"Haha you're so gay. I have no idea who you are. But what I've seen pictures of, you're disgusting... my sister had a kid and is still hot," Willow boasted.
"Tre, [shut the f--k up]. You're such a f--got... quit talking s--t about my family."
Additional Facebook users and possible classmates of the Palin sisters later joined the argument expressing their opinions, but Bristol and Willow refused to back down.
"Sorry that you guys are all jealous of my families' success and you guys aren't going to go anywhere with your lives," Willow wrote.
