Ashley Spencer, Mike McGowan and Christopher Gurr have joined the cast of the Broadway-bound "Priscilla: Queen of the Desert, The Musical."

Also joining the ensemble are Ellyn Marie Marsh and Jeff Metzler, the show's producers said Wednesday.

The musical is to have its North American premiere as a 12-week, limited engagement in Toronto this fall, then open on Broadway in the spring of 2011. It was written by Stephan Elliott and Allan Scott and directed by Simon Phillips.

Tony Sheldon, Will Swenson and Nick Adams were previously announced to play the trio of friends who embark on a heart-warming, uplifting adventure by hopping aboard a battered old bus searching for love and friendship in the middle of the Australian outback, and end up finding more than they could ever have dreamed.

The musical is adapted from the 1994 film "The Adventures of Priscilla Queen of the Desert," starring Terence Stamp, Hugo Weaving and Guy Pearce.
