America's Got Talent host Terry Crews announced Adrian Stoica & Hurricane as the champion act of Season 18 at the end of Wednesday night's two-hour finale broadcast on NBC.

"Two totally memorable acts. Only one of them is your winner. It's time!" Terry said. "America has voted. The AGT champion... is Adrian Stoica & Hurricane!"

Adrian Stoica & Hurricane therefore won the show's $1 million grand prize and the opportunity to join "America's Got Talent Presents Superstars Live" stage show at Luxor Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, NV.

Magician Anna DeGuzman finished as the season's runner-up.

Terry told America's Got Talent second-place finisher that she should be "very proud" of herself and what she's done on the show this season.

Before a winner was announced, the Season 18 finale featured the Top 11 finalists performing alongside celebrity guests.

In addition to Adrian and Anna, the other finalists were stand-up comedian Ahren Belisle, singing group the 82nd Airborne Chorus, Japanese girl group Avantgardey, dance act Chibi Unity, singer Lavender Darcangelo, French dance act Murmuration, singing group the Mzansi Youth Choir, singer Putri Ariani, and the acrobatic duo Ramadhani Brothers.

The celebrity guests included TV personality Cat Cora, songwriter Diane Warren, singer Jason Derulo, musician Jon Batiste, singer Leona Lewis, America's Got Talent season 17 winner the Mayyas, and band Thirty Seconds to Mars.

Adrian Stoica & Hurricane previously made it to the semifinals of Italia's Got Talent in 2017, and then the act competed on Romania's Got Talent in 2018 and 2022.

America's Got Talent judges Heidi Klum, Howie Mandel, Sofia Vergara, and Simon Cowell were all apparently surprised by the night's results.

"I mean, I was shocked, kind of, how much people were booing," Heidi told Us Weekly after the finale aired.

"I've been sitting there for many years and I had not really heard anyone boo that loud before in a finale when someone didn't make it. But I guess people felt very strong. So that was, like, a first."

Terry said he and Simon both found it "shocking" that 17-year-old Putri didn't earn a spot in the Final 2 acts.

Simon revealed that each judge predicted how the night was going to conclude and "not one person" guessed the winner correctly.

"I thought it was one of the better finals we've done because there wasn’t one person where I thought, 'I'm going to be disappointed if you win,'" Simon shared with the magazine.

"It was just like everyone did as good as you could do. And I said to someone earlier on the level of talent we're seeing over the years, the creativity, it's brilliant to watch. So, I was overall happy last night and I'm still happy now."

America's Got Talent has been renewed for a nineteenth season, which will air next summer.
