ABC apparently realized just how lame High School Musical: Get in the Picture's original grand prize was.

The network has announced that in addition to the previously announced prize of getting to appear in a music video shown in the end credits of Disney's High School Musical 3: Senior Year feature film, the reality show's winner will now also receive an exclusive talent hold agreement with ABC and a recording contract for two singles with Walt Disney Records, one of which will be a version of the song from the music video.

High School Musical: Get in the Picture will premiere Sunday, July 20 at 8PM ET/PT and air twice-a-week on Sundays and Mondays at 8PM ET/PT for three weeks.  The show will then continue its broadcast run in the Mondays at 8PM ET/PT time period for the remainder of the summer.

Following a nationwide casting search for interested applicants ages 16 to 22-years-old, High School Musical: Get in the Picture will follow a group of finalists selected to attend the show's "summer music program."

The finalists will then hone their skills and compete against one another in various challenges in an effort to avoid elimination.

High School Musical: Get in the Picture will be hosted by Nick Lachey and the show's judges will be announced at a later date.

High School Musical 3: Senior Year is scheduled to open in theaters this fall.
