True Beauty's first season premiered in January and followed six women and four men as they lived together in a Los Angeles mansion under the impression that they were competing in a beauty pageant-like reality competition series in which they would be judged solely on their physical beauty.
However, unbeknownst to them, the contestants were also judged on their "inner beauty" by being put through scenarios that forced them to reveal different aspects of their inner character.
Julia Anderson, a the 23-year-old magician's assistant from Dallas, TX, was crownedTrue Beauty's first-season champ after she was deemed to be the most beautiful contestant -- on both the inside and out.
True Beauty's first season was hosted by former TRL host Vanessa Minnillo, who also served as a judge along with former model Cheryl Tiegs and former America's Next Top Model judge Nole Marin, however ABC has yet to announce if they will reprise their roles.
True Beauty is produced by Tyra Banks' Bankable Productions, former Beauty and the Geek producers Ashton Kutcher and Jason Goldberg's Katalyst Films, and Warner Horizon.
