The network aired the first season of Little Miss Perfect, a docu-reality series that chronicles the behind-the-scenes activities and preparations for a junior beauty pageant, earlier this year.  The six-episode season focused on 12 girls -- two per hour-long episode -- between the ages of 5 and 10 and their mothers as they prepared to compete for the title of "Little Miss Perfect."

WE tv has doubled the number of episodes for Little Miss Perfect's second season, which will follow 24 girls.  The new season will also continue to follow Michael Galanes as he mentors the families and helps ready them for the competition.

Galanes is the national pageant director and founder of both the "Little Miss" and "America's Perfect" pageants as well as the "Little Miss Citrus" pageant, which served as inspiration and research for the 2006 film Little Miss Sunshine.

WE tv renewed Little Miss Perfect, which is produced by North South Productions. for a second season in July.
