WE tv has announced that Little Miss Perfect, a new docu-reality series chronicling the behind-the-scenes activities and preparations for a junior beauty pageant, will premiere on Wednesday, February 18 at 10PM ET/PT.

Little Miss Perfect's six-episode season will focus on 12 girls -- two per hour-long episode -- between the ages of 5 and 10 and their mothers as they prepare to compete for the title of "Little Miss Perfect."

Cameras follow each family as they encourage their daughters to rehearse dance routines, practice interview question answers, finalize their outfit, and complete the other details that need to be perfected for the competition.

In addition to chronicling the families, Little Miss Perfect will also follow Michael Galanes as he mentors the families and helps ready them for the competition.

Galanes is the national pageant director and founder of both the "Little Miss" & "America’s Perfect" pageants as well as the "Little Miss Citrus" pageant which served as inspiration and research for the 2006 film Little Miss Sunshine.

WE tv ordered Little Miss Perfect last August -- three months before TLC announced it had ordered the similarly themed Toddlers and Tiaras, which premiered last month.

Little Miss Perfect is produced by North South Productions.
