VH1 has announced Eddie Griffin: Going for Broke, a new reality series that will follow the comedian as he battles the possibility of bankruptcy, will premiere Monday, January 26 at 10PM ET/PT.

Each half-hour episode will follow the Undercover Brother actor as he struggles to monetarily support himself and his "rather large and complicated extended family," which includes eight children, two ex-wives and four "baby-mamas."

Griffin's mom Doris will attempt to help her son try and pull out of the financial tailspin.  She'll use "a big dose of tough love" to show Griffin his generosity and elaborate lifestyle have caused his life to get out of control.
