Vanessa Grimaldi is reportedly struggling to deal with Nick Viall's The Bachelor and Dancing with the Stars fame, and all the attention that comes with it.

Vanessa, 29, was initially excited for Nick, 36, to compete on Season 24 of Dancing with the Stars, but several weeks into the rehearsal schedule, the Canadian beauty is reportedly singing a different tune.

Although seemingly supportive, Vanessa is "having a hard time" with Nick's commitment to Dancing with the Stars, a source close to the couple told Us Weekly.

Dancing with the Stars' new season premiered a couple of weeks ago and has featured Vanessa sitting in the audience, cheering Nick on after his performances, as well as dropping in on his rehearsals with pro partner Peta Murgatroyd.

"Nick rehearses a lot," the friend told Us. "They fight about it."

Vanessa moved to Los Angeles, CA, from Montreal, Quebec, in order to be close to her fiance, who proposed at the end of The Bachelor's 21st season earlier this month with a 3.75-carat diamond ring. Vanessa probably didn't realize, however, how much time she'd have to spend apart from Nick due to his hectic DWTS schedule.

Nick's multiple stints on The Bachelor launched him into the spotlight, and now that he's on Dancing with the Stars, the former software salesman is always the talk of the town.

"Vanessa's not used to the attention being mostly on Nick," noted the source.

Vanessa was known for being a feisty, outgoing bachelorette on the ABC reality dating series. She always spoke her mind and seemed to love being the center of attention. But now, she is seemingly forced to take a backseat to Nick's fame.

"It's taking a toll," the pair's friend added.

When Nick was asked recently whether he's planning his wedding with the special education teacher, he admitted, "No, no."

"Like Vanessa and I have said, it's too early for us right now," he confessed. "We're still just doing a lot of new things together."

The couple also must endure stress of legal hurdles since Vanessa is trying to become an American citizen.

"She's living with me," Nick recently told Us of their current arrangement. "But obviously we're still working through the visa stuff, so she may have to pop back to Montreal at some point. While we're in L.A., we're living together."

It's no surprise Dancing with the Stars puts a strain on new romances. After Season 19 The Bachelor star Chris Soules got engaged to Whitney Bischoff on the show's finale, they split almost immediately after his Dancing with the Stars stint ended.
