Tyler Cameron accepted Hannah Brown's invitation to go out on a date during The Bachelorette finale on Tuesday night, but now he's sharing how he really feels about potentially reconciling with Hannah after getting dumped at the Final Rose Ceremony.

"I cherish Hannah and value her and our friendship so much, but I don't think it's healthy for us to jump into anything right away," Tyler told People in an interview.

Hannah chose Jed Wyatt, a country singer from Nashville, over Tyler, a general contractor from Florida, at the end of her search for love on Season 15 of The Bachelorette and the pair got engaged.

But five weeks after their engagement, according to the magazine, Hannah learned disturbing details about Jed's relationship with Haley Stevens, a fellow Nashville-based musician he was dating when he decided to go on the show.

Because Jed had been dishonest about the details of his relationship in which he had told Haley he loved her, never broke up with her, and planned to continue his relationship with her after he returned from The Bachelorette, Hannah dumped Jed and called off their engagement -- and then the former beauty queen set her sights on her runner-up.

"I think we need to be friends and see where life takes us. Whatever happens, happens," Tyler shared.

Although Hannah broke Tyler's heart, he insisted he has no hard feelings toward the Alabama native.

"I will always love and care for that girl," Tyler explained. "And I will always be her biggest fan and biggest supporter."

The pair agreed to take their relationship day by day and not rush anything since they're coming off a whirlwind couple of months.

"Tyler will always have a place in my heart no matter what our relationship looks like," Hannah told People.

"The feelings I developed for him were real and they don't shut off instantly. And it's hard to say [yet] what the future holds with him, or anyone else."

Before Tyler and Hannah reunited live on The Bachelorette after several months apart and the whole Jed scandal, Hannah admitted to show host Chris Harrison she had really struggled with her final decision in Greece.

"I've been really grieving that relationship," Hannah said of Tyler. "Those feelings just didn't go away."

Hannah had this mischievous look on her face that led Chris to believe the Bachelorette might want a second chance with her runner-up.

When Tyler finally joined Hannah onstage, he told the Bachelorette she looked "amazing" and expressed pride in how "powerful and strong" Hannah came across on her season.

"It's tough to see her go through what she's gone through, but she's a fighter," Tyler told Chris of Hannah's breakup with Jed. "She's one of the strongest people I've ever met, so I know she'll bounce back. The world is hers."

Tyler then recalled the day he was planning to propose marriage to Hannah in Greece, revealing he had thrown up in the morning because he was "so nervous" but "so ready to take that next step" with her.

"Our relationship was real to me and special," Hannah said. "Everything I said, I meant and I felt. And it didn't just go away, and I still have feelings."

The audience cheered loudly, and then Chris asked Hannah to elaborate on her feelings.

"I'm really confident in who I am now and being on my own and growing and really taking everything I've learned and what I want in a next relationship. But I don't know, oh God! Yeah, I want somebody to be bold, and I'm bold. And I make bold moves," Hannah began.

Hannah then looked at Tyler and said, "You're an incredible guy, and I'm a single girl. So, I don't know. I just thought maybe we could go for a drink and just hang out."

Tyler sweetly replied with a big smile, "I would love to, just tell me when. I'm there."

Hannah confirmed she had just asked Tyler out on a date -- with no horses involved -- but they'd just enjoy each other's company with no pressure.

"Take it one step at a time... [We'll] catch up. It's been a while," Tyler noted.
