The announcement was made Monday in Las Vegas where the annual meeting of National Association of Television Program Executives opened Tuesday, the New York Post reported.

"Tyra has done exactly what we said she would do -- create a fresh, advertiser-friendly format that would bring young women back to broadcast (TV) in daytime," Warner's Jim Paratore said.

In addition to her self-titled talk show, Banks hosts "America's Top Model" on UPN.
