Bravo has announced it has ordered another season of Top Chef that will touch down in cities such as Los Angeles, San Francisco, San Diego, Santa Barbara, Oakland, and the Greater Palm Springs Area.

Top Chef is returning to San Francisco and Los Angeles, where the series began, and is slated to premiere this fall. Production already began this spring.

In the new season, the "cheftestants" will battle it out in destinations across the Golden State to see if they have what it takes to earn the title of "Top Chef" and the bragging rights that come with it.

Padma Lakshmi will be returning as host, while Tom Colicchio, Gail Simmons and Richard Blais will be serving as judges once again.

California-based chefs, culinary stars and other celebrities will be making appearances as guest judges throughout the season.

"The entire food landscape has transformed in the 10 years since Top Chef first launched," Bravo executive Shari Levine said in a statement.

"What better way to explore where it all started then to head out to California, one of the top culinary destinations in the world, for an unprecedented six-city expedition."

Top Chef is produced by Magical Elves with Dan Cutforth and Jane Lipsitz serving as executive producers.
