Similar to its first season which aired earlier this year, Toddlers & Tiaras' new season will give viewers a look into the world of child beauty pageants and follow some of the pageant parents and pint-sized would-be beauty queens and kings -- who range from toddlers to pre-teens -- that inhabit it.

"Last season, Toddlers & Tiaras generated a lot of buzz and captivated viewers, and Season 2 will not disappoint," said TLC executive Howard Lee.  "The personalities are larger than life, the pageants are more competitive, and the desire to win is at an all-time high for these families."

Toddlers & Tiaras' second-season premiere will follow the Universal Royalty pageant, a Texas competition where nearly 100 young contestants compete to with the title of "Ultimate Grand Supreme" and $1,000 cash.

Some of the 13-episode season's subsequent episodes will follow pageants in Hawaii and California -- including several pageants in Gold Coast Pageants, the pageant system that inspired the 2006 Oscar-winning film Little Miss Sunshine.

TLC renewed Toddlers & Tiaras for a second season in April, and it is produced by Authentic Entertainment.
