Jon Gosselin and Hailey Glassman are more than just friends, however wedding bells apparently aren't in their immediate future.

An In Touch Weekly report that claimed the Jon & Kate Plus 8 star had proposed to his new 22-year-old girlfriend while the two vacationed over the weekend in the French Riviera is untrue, Us Weekly reported Wednesday.

"These reports are absolutely 100 percent false," a source close to Gosselin told Us.

When asked if Gosselin and Glassman are engaged, the Jon & Kate Plus 8 star's rep told Us "no comment."

Gosselin and Glassman were spotted over the weekend in St. Tropez and he subsequently acknowledged the two are dating less than three weeks after Kate Gosselin filed for divorce and the couple publicly announced their separation on Jon & Kate Plus 8's June 22 broadcast.

While vacationing, In Touch reported that Gosselin presented Glassman with a $180,000 engagement ring that featured a skull surrounded by four black diamonds.

"Jon has been telling everyone that he loves her and she loves him, so why waste time?" an insider told In Touch about the alleged engagement.  "They started dating two months ago and they both just knew the other was the one instantly."

Gosselin and Glassman also took a trip on Ed Hardy clothing designer Christian Audigier's yacht, and In Touch reported he helped the couple celebrate their engagement on Monday.

"They all went out to the V.I.P Room nightclub in St. Tropez after dinner," another source close to the group told In Touch.  "Hailey was flashing her ring around and they were kissing and hugging."

Earlier this week, some of her friends told Us that Glassman -- has reportedly previously auditioned for MTV's The Real World and Oxygen's Bad Girls Club reality shows -- is only dating Gosselin to "get famous."

Gosselin returned to the U.S. without Glassman on Tuesday to begin filming new episodes of Jon & Kate Plus 8, which is on hiatus until August 3.
