Fresh on the heels of yesterday's announcement that The WB has begun filming a second season of its The Surreal Life reality series, the network has also announced that it has also ordered a third season of its other popular reality show from last season -- High School Reunion.

Yep, that's not a typo -- despite the fact that the second edition of the series has yet to air, Variety is reporting that The WB is apparently so happy with the strong ratings that the first edition received that it has already ordered a third edition of the series that will be broadcast as part of the network's Fall 2004 schedule.

Scheduled to be broadcast in early 2004 as a midseason replacement and filmed in May 2003 at the Paul Mitchell mansion in Lanikai, Hawaii, the second High School Reunion series will focus on the 10th reunion of the 1993 graduating class of Round Rock High School just north of Austin, Texas.

Production is scheduled to begin in Spring 2004 on the third edition of the series, which will feature an as-of-yet unannounced reunion of 1994 high school graduates.
