The Voice musician coaches Christina Aguilera and Blake Shelton have each whittled down their third-season teams from 10 to five artists during the conclusion of the season's Knockout Round. Monday night's The Voice broadcast featured the first half of the Knockout Round, with fellow coaches Adam Levine and Cee Lo Green also reducing their teams via five separate faceoffs per team.

For the Knockout Round, each artist on every team performed individually against one of his or her own teammates one at a time. The contestants, who were able to select their own songs to perform, were surprised at the last minute by whom their coach chose to put them up against.

Christina chose to pit Devon Deloera, a 22-year-old singer from Shreveport, LA, against Laura Vivas, a 33-year-old singer from West Palm Beach, FL, and Devon came out on top. The coach put Adriana Louise, a 22-year-old singer from Brooklyn, NY, against Celica Westbrook, a 16-year-old singer from Franklin, TN, and Adriana won.

Also for "Team Christina," Alessandra Guerico, a 17-year-old singer from Brooklyn, NY -- whom she stole from Adam's team during a previous "battle" round -- sang against Dez Duran, a 25-year-old singer from Chicago Heights, IL. Christina decided to advance Dez in the competition.

Christina also had Chevonne, a 26-year-old singer from Upper Saddle River, NJ -- whom she stole from Cee Lo during a prior "battle" round -- perform against De'borah, a 20-year-old singer from Snyder, TX. The coach picked De'borah. Lastly, Christina pit Aquile, a 24-year-old singer from Oceanside, CA, against Sylvia Yacoub, a 19-year-old singer from Muskegon, MI, and she dubbed Sylvia the winner.

Blake chose to pit Liz Davis, a 25-year-old singer from Madison, MI, against Gracia Harrison, an 18-year-old singer from Virden, IL, and Liz came out ontop. The coach put Rudy Parris, a 46-year-old singer from Visalia, CA, against Terry McDermott, a 35-year-old singer from Aberdeen, Scotland, and Terry won.

Also for "Team Blake," Colin McLoughlin, a 24-year-old singer from Bedford, NY -- whom he stole from Adam's team during a prior "battle" round -- sang against Michaela Paige, a 16-year-old singer from Boca Raton, FL. Blake decided to advance Michaela in the competition.

Blake also had Julio Cesar Castillo, a 21-year-old singer from Chicago, IL, perform against MarissaAnn, a 15-year-old singer from Ronkonkoma, NY -- whom he stole from Christina's team during a previous "battle" round -- and the coach picked Julio.

In addition, Blake pit Cassadee Pope, a 22-year-old singer from Los Angeles, CA, against Suzanna Choffel, a 32-year-old singer from Austin, TX, and dubbed Cassadee the winner.

Monday night's Knockout Round broadcast featured Adam opting to take Joselyn Rivera, Bryan Keith, Amanda Brown, Loren Allred, and Melanie Martinez forward with him to live "Playoffs," while Cee Lo declared Cody Belew, Mackenzie Bourg, Trevin Hunte, Nicholas David, and Diego Val his team's Knockout Round champions.

Now that the Knockout Round is over, next week will begin the live "Playoffs" in which the Top 20 artists will perform live for home viewer votes on Monday, November 5 and Wednesday, November 7 from 8-10PM ET/PT.

The Top 12 will get determined on a special Thursday night one-hour results show at 8PM ET/PT in which the Top 2 vote-getters on each team will automatically advance and then each The Voice coach will have the opportunity to select his or her third team member.
