The Voice determined its Top 13 artists -- including "The Comeback Stage" winner -- for Season 16 and eliminated a whopping 11 artists during Tuesday night's results show on NBC.

The Voice host Carson Daly first announced the eight artists, regardless of team affiliation, who had received the most home viewer votes following Monday night's jam-packed Top 24 performance show and therefore automatically advanced to the Top 12.

The Voice coach Adam Levine was "shocked" to learn the results, as all of the artists selected by America either belonged to Blake Shelton, Kelly Clarkson, or John Legend's team.

Those eight artists were Team Blake members Gyth Rigdon, Carter Lloyd Horne, Kim Cherry, Dexter Roberts and Andrew Sevener; Team Legend members Shawn Sounds and Maelyn Jarmon; and Team Kelly member Rod Stokes.

However, each coach was afforded the opportunity to save one of the remaining Top 24 artists for his or own team, ensuring that each coach will have at least one artist taking the stage in the next live show.

John acknowledged the decision was "painful" for the coaches because they were going to lose many singers they cared about.

Adam chose to keep Mari on his team, Kelly opted to save Jej Vinson, John decided to keep Celia Babini on his team going forward, and Blake opted to save Oliv Blu.

In addition, Tuesday night's broadcast featured two competitors from "The Comeback Stage" performing back to back for only one spot in the next live show, rounding out the Top 13.

Kanard Thomas, who wasn't able to turn a chair in the Blind Auditions but fought his way back on the show, faced off against LB Crew, who had received a four-chair turn on The Voice in the Blinds but later got eliminated during the new Cross Battles round.

The men sang in the hope of receiving the most votes via Twitter, as The Voice's "Instant Save" format returned.

Kanard sang "Call Out My Name" for his "Instant Save" performance, and John said he showed so much skill and boasted different tones in his voice.

LB Crew then took the stage with "Electric Feel," and his former coach Adam gushed about how his vocals were "a perfect 10" and he "stuck the landing." Adam even said it was the best performance of this entire season.

America then had a five-minute window to vote for their favorite Comeback finalist during a commercial break, and Carson declared LB Crew as the winner once the show returned on the air.

LB Crew was able to choose a team to join, and although he admitted it would be "an honor" and "a dream come true" to work with John, he chose to go home to Adam's team since it was "struggling" and "low in numbers."

The results of Tuesday night's show ultimately ousted the following artists from the Season 16 competition: Team Blake members Selkii and Kendra Checketts; Team Legend members Jacob Maxwell, Jimmy Mowery, and Lisa Ramey; Team Kelly members Rebecca Howell, Matthew Johnson, Abby Kasch, and Presley Tennant; and Team Adam members Betsy Ade, Domenic Haynes, and Kalvin Jarvis.

Only four weeks are left until The Voice finale, and next week's performance show will feature the Top 13 artists singing for America's votes.
