The Voice host Carson Daly revealed the results of the home viewer votes cast following Monday night's live performance show -- which had featured the season's Top 12 artists taking the stage -- and Mark Hood from Pharrell Williams' team was in the bottom two with Korin Bukowski from Gwen Stefani's team.

Both individuals were afforded the chance to sing again, and Mark belted out "Signed, Sealed, Delivered (I'm Yours)." America then voted via the show's "Instant Save" format on Twitter, and home viewers opted to keep Korin in the competition.

Mark talked to Reality TV World during a Wednesday press conference call. Below is what he had to say. Check back with us soon for more from Mark's interview.

Reality TV World: You were an artist who stayed on Pharrell's team the whole time you were on The Voice -- you were never stolen. Looking back, do you think that presented you with an advantage because maybe staying with one coach made you more productive or was it a disadvantage because maybe you missed out on additional insight from another coach that could've helped you stick around longer?

Mark Hood: It was absolutely an advantage because Pharrell is absolutely one of the most incredible, amazing individuals I've ever worked with or even met. So working with him the entire time was amazing and it was just a blessing to have that opportunity.

Me and Pharrell have a connection like no other people in music, like, there's a life connection, a mental connection. So, I just don't know if I would've had that with anybody else. I'm really happy that I was with Pharrell the entire time.

Reality TV World: When watching The Voice, viewers see an artist getting to rehearse with his or her coach once or twice tops before a performance. But last night, I also noticed Pharrell had FaceTimed you. How much time did Pharrell really spend with you and how often were you in contact?

Mark Hood: I could be in contact with him as much as I wanted. I could email him and then we had schedules with them and then he would FaceTime me and everything. And they added extra, you know, I didn't know that we were going to be able to get that much rehearsal time with them. So it was just incredible.

Reality TV World: Last week, Pharrell decided to save you when America voted Madi Davis and Evan McKeel into the Top 12. Pharrell clearly struggled with the decision and didn't have time to really explain his choice other than saying he was going "out on a limb." What did he tell you after that show? What was his reasoning and how did it make you feel?

Mark Hood: I was just thinking the other day, he was like, "Don't thank me; Thank God. You're special. You're just a special guy." And it's so crazy! It's one big circle because I got all four chairs and then I told him the truth, that the reason I picked Pharrell was because God told me to.

So it comes full circle around for him to tell me the reason he chose me was because of God. It was kind of like, "Wow! We're in step with God and it all makes sense."

Reality TV World: It's undeniable Jordan Smith is a frontrunner in the competition right now. The coaches are basically obsessed with him. Did you or anyone else that you know of sort of see it as he's the guy to beat? That it was everyone against Jordan in a way?

Mark Hood: No, he's not the guy to beat because nobody's going to beat him. You've got to know your role and your lane on this show week to week, and you know where you sit. I know I wasn't going to beat Jordan, but I just wanted to be involved enough to hang around.

But I knew in the end, it's like a snowball effect. It's inevitable, you know? It is clear that there is a fan-favorite, so you just play your game and play your cards right for your own personal career. And that's what is most important.
