The Voice coach Adam Levine has weighed in on his co-stars Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani dating.

During a Friday morning On Air with Ryan Seacrest radio interview, Levine offered up his feelings on Shelton and Stefani's blossoming relationship, which just got confirmed Wednesday when the pop-rocker joined the country crooner for his CMAs afterparty and they held hands in public.

"They're my friends," the Maroon 5 frontman told Ryan Seacrest. "Gwen and I have really bonded lately. She's just the coolest, most wonderful person ever."

Levine seemingly criticized people who have been judging his friends' romance as well as the media's insatiable hunger for headlines.

"People don't really realize that they are humans and they have problems just like everybody else. I love my friends, and I support my friends through everything. I've been actually really enjoying getting to know Gwen better in the past two months," Levine explained.

Stefani and Shelton both made an appearance at Levine's Halloween party this past weekend.

If they couldn't get cute enough, Stefani and Shelton have reportedly already written a country ballad together about having the strength to leave a less-than-stellar relationship.

Reports of a "hot new romance" circulated for a couple of months after both Shelton and Stefani became single again and were apparently "all over each other" on The Voice set. Stefani split from Gavin Rossdale in August after 13 years of marriage, while Shelton also filed for divorce from Miranda Lambert in July after four years of marriage.
