Bethenny Frankel's flashy cooking-style as a natural foods chef didn't overwhelm Martha Stewart, but it's apparently impressive enough to land her a new book deal.

The Apprentice: Martha Stewart runner-up and current The Real Housewives of New York City star recently signed a multiple-book deal in the "mid six-figures" with publisher Touchstone Fireside, The New York Post reported Friday.

Her first book -- "Naturally Thin" -- is expected to hit shelves next year, The Post reported, adding rumors are also circulating that Frankel is in talks for her own health-food cooking show.

Frankel already boasts her own company, Bethenny Bakes; has a health column in Hamptons Magazine; is a TV spokesperson for Health Magazine; and serves as the spokeswoman for Pepperidge Farms' new line of health foods.

The 37-year-old finished second during NBC's Fall 2005 The Apprentice: Martha Stewart, in which she was defeated by Dawna Stone.

While Frankel appeared to execute The Apprentice spin-off's final task better than Stone, Stewart criticized the "rough edged" New York-native during the finale's live portion -- calling Frankel "a showoff" who needlessly felt she had to "make a physical impression."

Despite the fact that she's not married and has no children, Frankel currently stars in Bravo's The Real Housewives of New York City, an East Coast version of the network's The Real Housewives of Orange County reality series.
