The CW, the new network resulting from the merger of UPN and The WB, has revealed the identities of the wannabe models -- which include the show's first-ever set of twins -- who will be competing on the upcoming "seventh cycle" of Tyra Banks' America's Next Top Model reality series.

As previously announced, Top Model 7 will debut Wednesday, September 20 at 8PM ET/PT with a special two-hour premiere that will serve as the official launch of The CW's inaugural 2006-2007 programming schedule.

Just like last year's two editions of the show, this fall's Top Model 7 will feature thirteen girls (one girl fewer than the franchise record fourteen contestants that the show's third and fourth seasons featured) and a judging panel comprised of Tyra, supermodel Twiggy, photographer Nigel Barker, and runway expert J. Alexander. As in previous seasons, Top Model 7 will also feature additional special guest judges.

However unlike the show's last four editions, Top Model 7's competitors (who, as they have since Top Model 4, lived in a posh Los Angeles mansion during the already-filmed show's production) apparently won't be competing for a contract with Ford Models, a $100,000 contract with CoverGirl, and a fashion spread in Elle magazine. Instead, according to today's The CW announcement, "the new grand prize package for America's Next Top Model will be announced at a later date."

Ranging in age between 18 and 23, Top Model 7's cast is more than half Californian, with seven of the edition's thirteen girls, including the pair of twins, calling Anaheim, Sacramento, Los Angeles, Palmdale, or San Francisco home. Rounding out the cast are six other girls from Florida, Illinois, Iowa, North Dakota, South Carolina, and Texas

After its special two-hour premiere, Top Model 7 will air in its regular 8PM ET/PT time period beginning September 27.
