The Bachelorette star JoJo Fletcher noticeably teared up when Luke Pell confronted her about his emotions on The Men Tell All, and there's a reason for that.

"I hadn't spoken to Luke or [Chase McNary] since our goodbyes during the season. Those were two of the hardest moments of my life," Fletcher wrote in her People blog.

"I know for me, seeing [Ben Higgins] again at After the Final Rose brought back a lot of emotion, but it felt really great to get that closure. I have nothing but admiration for Luke and Chase."

Fletcher was therefore "really looking forward" to speaking with the two men for the first time in months.

Once Pell had his time to shine on The Men Tell All, he explained how he truly loved Fletcher and wished he had expressed himself sooner. Despite the painful split, the cowboy and war veteran from Burnet, TX, gushed about how Fletcher taught him to be vulnerable and he's ready to love again to the fullest.

"Having Luke talk about our relationship was really touching. Our time together was really special and to hear he still loves me, it fills me with a ton of emotion," Fletcher said.

"But to think I had something to do with him being able to open up again, and knowing he can be vulnerable -- I don't regret anything with him."

Fletcher clearly had a deep connection with Pell, and shortly after letting him go after his hometown date, she questioned if she had made a mistake.

However, Fletcher has since noted she's happy with her decisions and feels confident in them.

"I'll always have a place in my heart for Luke," Fletcher admitted.
