The Bachelorette's nineteenth season starring dual leads Gabby Windey and Rachel Recchia has begun filming.

The Bachelor creator and executive producer Mike Fleiss took to Twitter on Saturday with the big announcement that Gabby and Rachel's season is currently underway.

Mike tweeted a photo of a monitor on March 26 capturing Gabby and Rachel standing outside of the Bachelor mansion together on Night 1 in which Gabby was wearing a black gown and Rachel was rocking a gold dress.

Mike also tweeted, "The journey has begun... #TheBachelorette (s)," alongside a picture of several bachelors sitting on the couch inside the mansion, nervously awaiting their leading ladies to start the cocktail party.

The Bachelorette host Jesse Palmer, 43, also posted a photo of himself standing tall outside the mansion on Saturday

"So great to be home, back at the mansion!!! Gabby and Rachel's journeys are about to begin. #TheBachelorette #BachelorNation."

Jesse subsequently shared on his Instagram Story, "Alright, it's about 7AM [and] the longest night in television is officially over."

The former football player and Season 5 The Bachelor star continued, "Night 1 is in the books for Rachel and Gabby. Their journeys are officially underway! Can't wait for you to see it."

Gabby and Rachel's initial cast of potential bachelors was just announced by ABC last week.

In a Wednesday post on The Bachelorette's official Facebook page, ABC revealed the identities of 35 men who hope to compete for either Gabby or Rachel's heart on The Bachelorette when Season 19 premieres on Monday, July 11 at 8PM ET/PT.

Like in recent seasons past, several of these bachelors did not actually make the cut and meet Rachel and Gabby on Night 1. A typical The Bachelor and The Bachelorette season features 30 contestants.

Some of the Season 19 early standouts include Joey and Justin Y., who are 24-year-old twins, and James, a 25-year-old who had originally been cast on The Bachelorette's sixteenth season before production was suspended in early 2020 due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Both Gabby and Rachel appeared to sign off of social media earlier this week by posting the same message on Instagram: "Started from the bottom (of the stairs) now we're here."

Just two days earlier, both Gabby and Rachel appeared to sign off of social media by posting the same message on Instagram: "Started from the bottom (of the stairs) now we're here."

The post was referring to Rachel's emotional reaction when she cried on the stairs following Clayton's revelations he was in love with three women and had slept with both Rachel and Gabby during a "Rose Ceremony from hell," as Jesse recently put it.

"We couldn't be more excited to have each other on this journey to find love #thebachelorette," the girls added.

On The Bachelorette's official Instagram page, the new season is already dubbed "dreamy, surprising, empowering, amazing, romantic and dramatic" in a promo.

But it remains unclear how the format of The Bachelorette's upcoming edition is going to work with two stars of the show, whom Mike insisted on Twitter will not be pitted against each other when dating these guys.

"Everyone keeps asking. We just got thrown in," Gabby said during a recent Good Morning America appearance.

"But I have faith and a lot of trust and I love Rachel to death and I know we're gonna have each other's backs the whole way, so there's really not a doubt in my mind that it's gonna end up well."

For the first time ever, The Bachelorette will have two stars for the entire season.

The reality dating series featured two Bachelorettes once before on Season 11, but the men voted for their favorite of the two women at the end of Night 1 and ultimately selected Kaitlyn Bristowe to continue on the show instead of Britt Nilsson.

Given Gabby and Rachel had created an incredible bond while going through Clayton Echard's season together and even got dumped at the same time, The Bachelorette producers seemingly want the women to support each other and lift each other up through the process this time around.

During The Bachelor's Season 26 finale, Clayton broke up with and devastated Gabby and Rachel -- in a group dumping session -- after sleeping with and professing his love to both of them in order to chase down the girl he was "most in love" with, Susie Evans, who became his girlfriend in the real world once filming ending.

Jesse announced at the end of the live finale broadcast how both Gabby and Rachel will star on The Bachelorette next season after enduring a tumultuous and emotional ride on Clayton's season in which they had felt "betrayed" as well as "misled" and "cast aside."
