The Bachelorette star JoJo Fletcher eliminated four bachelors, including the villainous Chad Johnson, during Tuesday night's episode of Season 12's special two-night event on ABC.

JoJo opted not to give roses to Christian Bishop, a 26-year-old telecom consultant from Los Angeles, CA; Nick Benvenutti, a 33-year-old electrical engineer from Fort Lauderdale, FL; and Ali Zahiri, a 27-year-old bartender from Santa Monica, CA.

Chad, a 28-year-old luxury real estate agent from Tulsa, OK, was eliminated on a two-on-one date with one of his arch rivals in the house, Alex Woytkiw, a 26-year-old U.S. Marine from Oceanside, CA.

The Bachelorette broadcast began with Chad telling the other guys he wasn't on the show to start issues, that he just wanted to be left alone and not pushed or bothered. He wanted to be cool with them for the rest of the season, especially since host Chris Harrison asked him to squash any beef.

Evan Bass, a 33-year-old erectile dysfunction specialist from Nashville, TN, demanded an apology from Chad as well as a new shirt because of the incident that happened at the previous Group Date. Chad argued that Evan pushed him, but regardless, he'd throw him $20. Chad told the group he wouldn't be violent as long as no one tried to fight with him, and Evan called him out for being "ridiculous."

Chad decided the only thing left to do was give the guys space and let them cool down on their own.

That day, JoJo and her group of bachelors enjoyed a pool party. Evan got a nosebleed after diving into the water, and Chad joked, "Apparently Evan gets a nosebleed just thinking about me."

JoJo then spent some alone time with Jordan Rodgers, a 27-year-old former pro quarterback from Chico, CA. She could see herself falling for him, so she was excited about the future but also nervous since Jordan was "so smooth" and knew what he was doing right off the bat.

JoJo wondered if Jordan was too good to be true, but he reiterated how much their relationship meant to him. He was really glad to hear she liked him that much because he was experiencing the same feelings.

During the pool party, JoJo noticed that Chad was calm, friendly and minding his own business, so she wasn't seeing that dark side of him everyone was complaining about. Chad then explained to JoJo why he was shocked when Evan got the Group Date rose.

Chad said he couldn't understand how JoJo could like them both at the same time when they were stark opposites. Chad called himself steak and Evan ice cream. JoJo seemed to accept Chad's reasoning for his questionable behavior, but his motives confused her.

Throughout the day, Chad realized the other men were spending their alone time with JoJo just talking about him. For example, Derek Peth, a 29-year-old commercial banker from Ft. Lauderdale, FL, explained to JoJo how they wanted a security guard in the house in fear Chad would lose control at any moment. Chad said it felt like ninth grade and the guys were acting like children.

Chad confronted Derek afterwards, and Derek claimed Chad was on the show just to be in front of the cameras. Derek also accused Chad of making misogynistic comments.

Alex told the cameras that Chad isn't a good person and he doesn't care about other people, so that's not the man JoJo would want to end up with.

It then became time for the Rose Ceremony. JoJo handed out roses in the following order: Grant Kemp, a 28-year-old firefighter from San Francisco, CA; Derek; Jordan; Luke Pell, a 31-year-old war veteran from Burnet, TX; Robby Hayes, a 27-year-old former competitive swimmer from Jacksonville, FL; Wells Adams, a 31-year-old radio DJ from Nashville, TN; James Fuertes, a 34-year-old boxing club owner from Nashville, TN; Vincent "Vinny" Ventiera, a 28-year-old barber from Delray Beach, FL; Daniel Maguire, a 31-year-old Canadian from Vancouver, B.C., Canada; Alex; and finally Chad.

Nick couldn't believe he was ousted when a guy like Chad got a rose. Ali and Christian were also very disappointed.

The group then packed their bags and headed to Nemacolin, Pennsylvania. JoJo felt hopeful and optimistic, thinking her husband was definitely among this group of guys.

The next Date Card arrived and it had Luke's name on it. He had butterflies in his stomach and anticipated an unbelievable day. Luke was looking for confirmation of the chemistry they had so early on and said that getting a rose would validate she was feeling the same feelings he already had.

For their date, the couple rode on a sled pulled by dogs and then hopped in a wood-fire hot tub outdoors, where they talked and sipped champagne. When Luke took his shirt off, JoJo gushed about how hot he was.

Because he was such an open and nice guy, JoJo wondered if Luke was also too good to be true. JoJo noted that Luke was like a GQ model yet he had a lot more to him.

Meanwhile, Chad assumed JoJo hadn't given him a date yet because she was saving him for last, the best for last.

"I'm not going to start anything, but I will be the one to finish it," Chad told the cameras.

The next Date Card then arrived and the following guys learned they'd be accompanying JoJo on a Group Date in Pennsylvania: Derek, James T, Daniel, Chase, Wells, Vinny, James F, Evan, Grant, Jordan, and Robby.

The card read, "We could go all the way," so the guys assumed it had something to do with football, and Jordan, being a former pro quarterback, was sure he'd have a big advantage.

The Date Card ultimately revealed that Alex and Chad would be sharing the dreaded two-on-one date with JoJo.

"It's good vs evil. I got this. I'm pumped, let's go, let's do this," Alex said in a confessional.

"Alex is the type of guy that the only way to get the guy to respect you is to get physical," Chad said, calling his opponent "a child."

Back on JoJo's date, the Bachelorette pointed out how Luke was "rugged, sexy and mysterious." She loved his relaxed confidence, and then Luke shared his story -- how he grew up in a small town kid from Texas, was recruited to play football at West Point, went into the military, and became a platoon leader.

Luke explained how he learned the value of life when his childhood friend got killed in Afghanistan in the line of duty. Luke acknowledged that tomorrow is never guaranteed, and he revealed his emotional side to JoJo. She was incredibly impressed by him and gave him a rose and a big kiss.

The date concluded with Luke and JoJo dancing onstage at a Dan + Shay concert.

The following day, JoJo embarked on her Group Date in Pittsburgh at Heinz Field with her suitors. The men were greeted by famous NFL players Ben Roethlisberger, Brett Keisel and Hines Ward.

JoJo's bachelors were split up into two teams and had to play a game of football. The winning team would earn extra time with JoJo that night, and Jordan would get to spend that time with her no matter what because he played quarterback for both teams.

The guys took competitive to a whole new level in this game. James Taylor cut his face open and needed stitches. And Evan, whom nobody was expecting anything big from, became the dark horse.

Meanwhile, Chad was venting about how his date with Alex wasn't going to be a competition.

"I'm the one that JoJo wants. Alex knows. He knows," Chad said.

Back on the Group Date, Derek stole the football from Wells and won the game by seven points for his Blue Team -- which was also comprised of James T, Evan, Vinny, Robby, and Jordan.

During the night portion of the date, Robby advanced his relationship with JoJo. She felt comfortable with him even though they hadn't spent much time together, and he lifted her up onto the pool table to kiss her.

"I'm falling in love with JoJo day by day," Robby said in a confessional.

JoJo said she could tell Robby had something in his pocket that would ultimately blow her away. Robby told the cameras he couldn't have dreamt that things would go so well.

Afterward, JoJo kept questioning Jordan's intentions and their romance. She found him hard to read and pressed him to open up, which Jordan admitted was a difficult thing for him to do. However, Jordan didn't want to lose her, so he let his walls down.

"I feel like I'm falling for you. I can see somebody that I could fall in love with and it means the world to me," Jordan told her before they shared a kiss.

JoJo decided to give the Group Date rose to Jordan because he took her by surprise that day and made her feel very special.

Meanwhile, Alex and Chad were arguing before they embarked on their two-on-one date with JoJo. Chad called Alex "a whiny little b-tch," and Alex countered by calling Chad "the most insecure person" in the house. The guys then ganged up on Chad, saying he was a coward because he walked away every time they tried to confront him about his behavior.

A frustrated Chad then threatened Jordan, saying he could easily find him at home once the show ends. Jordan told the cameras that Chad had "mental issues," and everyone was hoping JoJo would give Alex the rose because he was a "stand-up guy." Jordan knew, however, that Chad had the ability to morph into someone empathetic and compassionate when around JoJo.

Wells was convinced that as long as Alex stayed humble and could keep his cool, Chad would self-destruct and ruin things for himself. JoJo was very uneasy about how this date was going to go.

JoJo knew she had found instant chemistry with Chad, but she didn't like how drama followed him. JoJo was sure Chad had a soft side, but at the same time, she viewed Alex as a sensitive and kind soul. JoJo just questioned whether she and Alex could take their relationship to the next level.

For their date, the trio hiked in the woods. Chad said it felt like Alex was just "a needy little guy trailing behind" them. Alex called Chad "fake and disingenuous."

Chad hoped Alex wouldn't bash him on the date during his alone time with JoJo, but that's exactly what Alex did. Alex explained that Chad was fake and acted entirely different around the guys than he did around JoJo. Alex also shared how Chad had threatened to find Jordan at home after the show to beat him up.

JoJo called her one-on-one time with Alex "eye opening" because she learned about Chad's dark side. She was shocked he was threatening the guys and being so violent and aggressive. JoJo then discussed the issue with Chad, whom she had believed was sweet and attentive, although intimidating.

Chad didn't deny the fact he had threatened Jordan, but he insisted he always tried to sit down and talk with the guys before resorting to that. JoJo was frustrated that Chad wasn't really clarifying the situation or defending his behavior.

JoJo went off on her own to think and cried because she remembered how his mother had passed away six months prior, and she wondered whether he was lashing out due to pain.

When Chad and Alex were alone, sitting on a blanket, Chad told Alex that he was unhappy and disappointed with the Marine for throwing him under the bus. Chad had repeatedly asked Alex to mind his own business.

After spouting the line, "Life ain't all blueberries and paper airplanes," Chad told Alex he couldn't hurt him because he'd get in trouble. Alex pointed out that verbal abuse like that is exactly why everyone in the house disliked him so much.

When JoJo returned to the blanket, she admitted Alex's admissions had really upset her because she "went to bat" for Chad and gave him many second chances.

"Have you threatened anyone in the house?" JoJo asked Chad bluntly, clearly desperate for answers.

"It's not 100% false. Things have happened in the house," Chad confessed, adding that he had been put in the corner by the other guys and therefore didn't have other options.

JoJo told the two men that resorting to violence was unacceptable and she didn't want to date someone who made threats and couldn't get along with other guys. As a result, JoJo gave the date's rose to Alex, which made his whole day.

"Am I getting pranked right now?" Chad asked, before swearing and questioning whether JoJo was an actress.

The episode concluded with Chad walking back to the house where all of the suitors were staying. As they celebrated his ouster -- because they saw staff take away his suitcase -- Chad stared through the front door and rubbed his finger tips down the door as if he was ready to attack.
