Alex Woytkiw got the rose from JoJo Fletcher on Tuesday night's two-on-one date with Chad Johnson.

Alex, a 26-year-old U.S. Marine from Oceanside, CA, was thrilled to survive because not only did he really care about JoJo, but he also despised Chad and everything he stood for. Alex and Chad butted heads since the beginning of the show, and Alex called it a good vs evil showdown.

During a Wednesday interview, Alex -- who is still on the show and in the running for JoJo's heart -- discussed his relationship with JoJo, her intentions and how he viewed his overall experience on the show.

Below is a portion of Alex's interview. Check Reality TV World's The Bachelorette 12 page for more.

After seeing everything you've gone through on the show, do you think JoJo is worth it?

Alex Woytkiw: Oh, absolutely. I mean, the thing is, I know that I wanted to make my relationship with JoJo a two-way street. And from the beginning, it's hard because you're thrown into such a unique environment and then to just get to know JoJo and to grow as friends in the beginning, for me, I want to know that she's here for the right reasons as much as I want to believe I'm there for the right reasons, and that's to fall in love.

You know, after last night and seeing how she handled it and seeing those interviews that I wasn't a part of in which she's commenting and going through her own decision points, absolutely she's worth it. She proved it to me last night, that she was there for the right reasons. And, it was a lot easier for me moving forward in our relationship to take it so seriously, you know?

How was your one-on-one time with JoJo and how did that time, not having to talk about Chad or protect her from Chad affect your relationship? Did it benefit?

Alex Woytkiw: Oh, absolutely. I mean, the two-on-one actually felt like JoJo and I were on a one-on-one date and quite frankly, that kind of date would have been really fun to go on as a real one-on-one. You know, a nice site and cool views and stuff.

But, the two-on-one, it felt like a one-on-one because Chad was like doing what Chad does. And then, getting that one-on-one time with her later on, you know, it actually was kind of similar to a lot of the other times I spent with her leading up to that point.

Like, I didn't just sit down with her and only talk about Chad. I only answered like she asked me, like, "Hey, I want you to trust that your opinion matters to me. We are two people that are going through such a unique thing together."

And she looked at me and said, "I want you to know that. If you tell me something, I trust you and I want you to know that I trust you. And I don't want you to hide something just because you don't want to come up like snitch or something." And, so moving forward, that one-on-one time was great. We didn't really talk about anything but what we wanted to talk about.

I mean, I think you saw on the show that I actually do have a real relationship with her, and it sucks because this whole Chad thing has taken away from my actual relationship with JoJo, which is great.

Did you watch her on the original show? Did you always think, "Wow, I'd like to get to know that girl," and what was the reality like when meeting her?

Alex Woytkiw: So, I've actually never really watched the show before. I watched a couple of episodes right when I realized I was actually, you know, most likely being cast and getting a chance to be a part of it. So, you know, really meeting her for the first time, it didn't feel like being starstruck. It felt like just surreal.

Because she's a beautiful girl and she's got this kind of energy about her that just takes over a room. And, when you meet her for the first time, you feel that energy. It has nothing to do with really the cameras, it's just her confidence and just a unique, like vibe that she brings. And, it was great. I definitely looked at her as someone that I was hoping it would be.

And, you know, being that I had come back from deployment and got to go on the show, it all just felt so easy and natural. It just felt right. And then, for it to be her -- who's actually who I was hoping it would be -- everything just kind of fell into place. So, I was really excited.

I know you can't tell us what happens from this point onwards. But, can you say in general whether the whole experience looking back was a really good one for you? Are you happy right now?

Alex Woytkiw: I would say that, yes, I went there and then I came home and thought about everything when we concluded. I wouldn't take it back. I think just as a human being, the amount of time you learn about yourself and how you act and respond to different situations and you get the chance to go, you know, the fact that, like for instance, moving forward, and the international travel.

Like, getting to go travel places, like, you know, Uruguay. It is so exciting to me. It's doing things that I never thought I would do, and with someone that's so special like JoJo, it was awesome.
