The Bachelor star Juan Pablo Galavis' final bachelorette -- either Nikki Ferrell or Clare Crawley -- reportedly doesn't know what she's gotten herself into.

"The winner is about to be very surprised. She has no idea what she's in for," a friend of The Bachelor's eighteenth-season contestants told Life & Style.

Galavis, a 32-year-old former pro soccer player, is reportedly broke and still lives with his parents in Miami, FL.

"Most of the money Juan Pablo got from soccer is probably long gone. Money must be tight, because he lives in a three-bedroom apartment with his mom and dad," a source told Life & Style.

"The reason he was so interested in being the Bachelor was to make money and become more famous. He's always actively looking for money and work."

Galavis, although portrayed as being very successful on The Bachelor, apparently struggles financially in his current job as a sports consultant.

"[Juan Pablo] does work for the Venezuelan Baseball Hall of Fame," the source explained. "During baseball season, he has to travel to different ballparks and try to get Venezuelan players to sign memorabilia he can bring back to the Hall of Fame."

The source added that times become more difficult for Galavis, a single dad, once baseball season ends.

The Bachelor's eighteenth-season finale will air on Monday, March 10 at 8PM ET/PT on ABC.
