"I can definitely tell you that I'm happy," Joey told Parade with a smile on his face in an interview that was published after The Bachelor's Season 28 premiere aired on ABC on Monday.

"That's probably the most that I can tell you, but I'm definitely happy."

While Joey has revealed that he's happy, he's dodged questions about his final decision and if he left the show engaged to his winner or still single.

Jimmy Kimmel grilled Joey about the outcome of his The Bachelor season during Monday's episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live!.

"The show is done taping. You've made your decision, whatever that decision is. This is the time when... [a Bachelor or Bachelorette] has a secret that you don't want to share and you can't share it with anybody," Jimmy declared.

"But if you are with somebody, I assume that you would be together. Yes?"

Joey responded, "Yes, but I can't answer if I'm with someone though. You're trying to set me up right now! I can feel it!"

Jimmy clarified that wasn't the case, and he explained, "I hear you live with your sister in Philadelphia, right?"

"Yes," Joey replied. "I'm not couch surfing though. I have my own room. I have a little spot. The guest room is Joey's room, and so it works out okay."

Jimmy pointed out how Joey "must be alone" after filming The Bachelor's 28th season because he "can't be living" in his sister's guest room with his winning bachelorette.

"You think what you want!" Joey quipped. "I'm not going to say anything else. All I know is that I'm staying in my sister's room. That's all I've got -- in her guest room -- and let's just end it at that."

Joey reiterated how that was all he was allowed to say.

"But it's possible one of these women lives in a different city and you guys are just trying to figure it out until you get together," Jimmy noted.

"That is very possible," Joey confirmed.

Jimmy wrapped up the segment by asking Joey if his Uncle Joe -- who made a brief appearance on Charity Lawson's The Bachelorette season last year -- has met Joey's fiancee yet.

"That is another [time] you're trying to stump me!" Joey vented. "But I'm not saying anything!"

Joey said he's never heard of a Bachelor moving his winner into his family's home, but Joey acknowledged how he's very Italian.

"Will you be the Bachelor again next season?" Jimmy asked.

"You can't keep asking these questions!" Joey said with a laugh. "You're going to have to wait to find out!"

Joey did share, however, that he doesn't live with regrets and he feels content and secure about his choices.

The Bachelor premiere featured Joey giving his First Impression Rose to Lea Cayanan and then eliminating 10 women during the first Rose Ceremony of the season.

Joey eliminated Chandler Dewgard, Eleni "Lanie" Latsios, Kayla Rodgers, Kyra Brusch, Natalie "Nat" Crepeau, Samantha "Sam" Hale, Samantha Washington, Sandra Rabadi, Talyah Jackson, and Zoe Antona.

Joey now has 22 remaining women on his journey to find love going into Episode 2 of The Bachelor on Monday, January 29 at 8PM ET/PT on ABC.
